Key Duties/ Responsibilities:
provide excellent service to guests with efficient management of their luggage and careful attention to their needs and requests for the full duration of their time at the hotel
provide useful information to guests, respond to their requests and ensure that hotel management is made aware of all guest interactions
keep up to date with activities, events and facilities in and around the hotel
maintain the health, hygiene and professional appearance of the Porter’s storeroom and all who work in it
keep trolleys clean and in good working order actively participate in a working environment where staff are
fully trained, supportive of each other and competent
work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards
The candidate Minimum Requirements:
Minimum qualifications and experience needed to join our team: Grade 12 (NQF4) or equivalent
good numeracy skills; verbal and written English skills
at least 1 years experience in a service type industry
