Gibela Rail Transport Consortium invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Warehouse Supervisor position to be based in Wolmerton.
The successful candidate will report to the Supply Chain Manager.

Responsibilities
- Supervise warehouse team members through setting effective objectives and priorities.
- Ensure accurate booking in and out of all stocks and tools to ensure that physical inventory is accurately effected on the company’s ERP system
- Ensure adherence to all Environmental, Health & Safety regulations within the warehouse and associated areas.
- Carry out regular stock checks using the Physical Inventory process.
- Ensure good housekeeping and storage of materials including preservation of items with special storage requirements
- Manage Daily Improvements by participating in the updating, and presentation of the SQCD (Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery) Board.
- Perform Repairable stock reconciliations, by ensuring that a broken part is received for every good part issued.
- Monitoring of transactions and reports, and reconciliation of discrepancies
- Assist with the identification and disposal of surplus and obsolete material
- Implement and maintain 5S Standards and Continual Improvement within the warehouse
- Manage team skills matrix and Operate mobile and lifting equipment, including Fork Lift Trucks
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics
- Previous Technical Knowledge and experience required
- 3 years warehouse supervision experience
- SAP knowledge
- Code 08 driver's licence,
- Valid Forklift certificate
