We have a fantastic opportunity for the right housekeeping assistants to join our team on a permanent basis. Minimum of 30 hours per week.
You must have a keen eye for detail, take pride in cleaning and maintaining a privatelyowned hotel to ensure that it meets our housekeeping sanitation requirements and provides a comfortable space for residents and employees.
Room Attendant Job Duties include.
Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showersbathtubs, countertops, and sinks
Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area
Making beds and changing linens
Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
Sweepingvacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry.
Ironing clothing items
Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean towels, toiletries, and other supplies.
Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
Emptying rubbish receptacles and disposing of waste
Steaming and cleaning drapes
Tidying up rooms
Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed.
Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
Housekeeping Skills
Knowledge of and experience in cleaning and sanitising rooms to meet Hotel standard requirements.
Willingness to learn new cleaning methods and how to use various pieces of equipment.
Ability to adapt to different situations and change work processes to accommodate customer needs.
Ability to use feedback to enhance performance.The Cleaner will perform a wide range of duties to keep a business tidy. You will also be responsible for performing routine inspections to ensure that spaces like restrooms have sanitary. Cleaners are responsible for: Cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors and vacuuming.
