**Job Description:**
Transnet is seeking a Maintenance Controller to oversee the planning room and manage the SAP-Plant Maintenance system within the depot. The role involves ensuring the establishment of an efficient information data and reporting structure to support maintenance operations.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage the planning room and SAP-Plant Maintenance system.
- Establish and maintain effective information data and reporting systems.
- Ensure adherence to maintenance schedules and protocols.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Grade 12).
- Technical background in infrastructure disciplines such as Material Logistics, Trade Hand, or Artisan.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an infrastructure environment.
- Proficiency in computer operations.
**Competencies:**
**Knowledge:**
- Understanding of infrastructural work order management processes.
- Proficiency in SAP R/3 PM Module and capacity balancing.
- Familiarity with the infrastructure environment.
- Competent in MS Office suite.
**Skills:**
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in data capturing and presentation.
**Competency Required:**
- Strong computer skills.
- Efficient information processing abilities.
