**Job Description:**
Transnet is seeking a Supplier Development Analyst for their Port Elizabeth location. As an Assistant Supplier Development Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation of supplier development strategies across Transnet. This involves providing support to Supplier Development Managers and Specialists, analyzing data to contribute to Transnet’s Supplier Development imperatives, and assisting in Supplier Development training initiatives.
**Position Outputs:**
- Analyzing data to support BBBEE and CSDP strategies and thought leadership.
- Conducting research to identify opportunities for CSDP and BBBEE transactions with strategic suppliers.
- Supporting training initiatives for Supplier Development.
- Collating reports from ODs on SD activities across Transnet.
- Tracking implementation of Supplier Development Strategies across Transnet and compiling reports as required by SD Managers.
- Coordinating data collection for monthly dashboard reporting.
- Providing inputs into the monthly compilation of SD COE dashboard.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree (supply chain or commercial) is required unless the applicant can demonstrate the necessary competencies through experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (supply chain or commercial) is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in supply management function or BEE strategy development.
