**Affinity Health Vacancies – Project Co-Ordinator**
Affinity Health, a leading medical insurance company in Benoni, is seeking a Project Co-Ordinator to support the Governance, Risk, and Compliance teams. The ideal candidate will facilitate project completion, track project performance, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
### Key Performance Areas:
- **Develop Project Plans:**
- Collaborate with the company and its clients to define requirements and meet objectives.
- Define, scope, and plan projects, including work breakdown structures (WBS) and deliverables, according to accepted project management methodology.
- Create clear specifications of responsibilities regarding stakeholders’ scope, quality of deliverables, costs, and timelines.
- **Manage Project Implementation:**
- Ensure all tasks comply with in-house procedures and mandatory quality standards.
- Drive successful project completion through all project phases.
- Maintain the project’s business case and budget throughout its lifecycle.
- Assist in procuring external resources and services.
- **Develop Progress Reports:**
- Consolidate project-related data into comprehensive tracking reports.
- Validate the accuracy and integrity of project-related information.
- Compile monthly reports highlighting significant project blocks, deliverables, and progress.
- Present regular progress reports (weekly/monthly) and updated plans to stakeholders.
- Establish a plan to monitor progress and quality throughout the project’s life.
- **Stakeholder Engagement:**
- Conduct initial kick-off meetings, followed by ongoing progress updates.
- Define the communication frequency, method, and content for each stakeholder group.
- Actively solicit stakeholder feedback to ensure their input is incorporated throughout the project.
- Regularly communicate project updates, milestones, and changes to keep everyone informed and aligned.
- Foster collaboration by encouraging stakeholders to share ideas and contribute to the project’s success.
- Maintain a record of all communications and engagement activities with stakeholders.
### Work Location:
- Benoni Office, with some travel required to other branches.
### Essential Qualifications:
- Matric
- Professional accreditation in Programme and/or Project Management (e.g., Prince2, MSP, PMP – PMBOK, Lean – Six Sigma)
- Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., SDLC & PDLC)
### Desirable Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Project Management or a suitable equivalent
### Essential Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience in business analytics and intelligence, within the Financial Services or Governance, Risk, and Compliance industry
- Proven experience in managing successful projects
- Expertise in Project Management and Change Management
### Desirable Experience:
- Managing projects across the entire lifecycle using current technology, structured methods, and quality processes (e.g., PMP method, Prince2)
- Exposure to governance, control, and risk management
- Proven ability to work effectively across teams at all levels
- Negotiation and influence skills at a senior level
- Leadership, motivation, coaching, and people-development skills
- Understanding of Business and Technology Change Lifecycles
- Experience with IT and Cybersecurity projects

- Proficient in report building, data analytics, and communications
