Lusapho Professional Services is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner with a strong background in African HR practices to support their client in the mining industry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Recruitment and On-boarding:**
- Participate in the selection process with HRBP and line management.
- Manage employment contracting, enrolment, and on-boarding.
2. **Talent Management:**
- Oversee talent management processes and adherence.
- Analyze talent management data and recommend improvements.
3. **Employee Relations:**
- Provide first-line labour relations consulting.
- Foster partnerships across the region and other African countries to enhance departmental culture.
4. **Remuneration and Employee Benefits:**
- Understand and explain remuneration and benefits principles and procedures.
- Perform calculations related to remuneration and benefits.
5. **Process Efficiency:**
- Identify and address inefficiencies in HR processes.
- Communicate HR policies and systems effectively.
6. **Customer and Relationship Results:**
- Address the people needs of the business and promote HR services.
- Support line management in developing values-based partnerships.
7. **HR Analytics:**
- Compile and present HR reports, interpret data, and perform trend analyses.
- Ensure data integrity in the HR system.

**Candidate Requirements:**
- **Education:** B. Degree / B Tech in HR or Behavioural Sciences or equivalent.
- **Experience:** 6-8 years of generalist HR experience.
- **Knowledge:** Extensive experience with African legislation (e.g., Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Zambia).
- **Skills:** Proficient in Talent Management, basic understanding of Organisational Design, and business understanding.
- **Travel:** Must be willing to travel to site.
