Revenue Supervisor | Affinity Health



The Revenue Supervisor position at Affinity Health in Ekurhuleni (East Rand) involves overseeing the daily operations of the Finance department and analyzing data and reports.


### Key Responsibilities:

- **Report on Stats:**

  - Compile and verify daily, weekly, and monthly statistics.

  - Edit and run scripting for Group Schemes Reports.

  - Generate unpaid and metric reports.

  - Handle HR leave reporting and NBC group files.

  - Respond to ad hoc requests involving Excel assistance and data extraction scripts.

- **Maintain Department Operations:**

  - Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

  - Provide feedback on claims progress to agents and service providers.

  - Address backlogs and allocate workload efficiently.

  - Monitor agents’ workload and liaise with other departments regarding claims.

  - Conduct regular meetings, cross-training, and performance reviews.

  - Monitor the accuracy of reports and database information.

- **Administrative Duties:**

  - Compile and conduct spot checks on daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

  - Set up SOPs and process flows.

  - Check biometric reports and maintain filing systems.

  - Approve leave and assist with audits.

- **Management and Authorization:**

  - Authorize receipt and reconcile payments.

  - Resolve discrepancies and manage credit and debit notes.

  - Oversee the accuracy and timely delivery of statements and bordereaux.

  - Ensure monthly resolution of arrears and effective communication with groups.

  - Manage the collections process and relationships with service providers.

  - Supervise Revenue Administrators and liaise with the Development team.

  - Assist in testing and implementing new or upgraded software.


### Qualifications:

- **Essential:**

  - Matric

  - Diploma or Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science

  - MySQL qualification

- **Desirable:**

  - BCOM in Management or Accounting


### Experience:

- **Essential:**

  - 2 years of analytical experience

- **Desirable:**

  - 5 years of process flow experience
