### Job Description
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking experienced cleaners for their Valley Hyper store. The role involves maintaining a clean and neat store in line with Dis-Chem’s hygienic standards. The areas of responsibility include the store floor, stock room, dispensary, admin office, and canteen.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the store, shop floor, and communal areas before opening.
- Develop routines to ensure all areas are consistently clean.
- Ensure the canteen and restrooms are clean and stocked with necessary products at all times.
- Be available during operational hours for cleaning as needed.
- Use correct cleaning products and equipment for specific tasks.
- Display wet floor signs when cleaning the floor.
- Be friendly, professional, and able to assist customers.
- Perform duties according to Health and Safety Regulations.

### Candidate Requirements
**Minimum Requirements:**
- Grade 12 / Matric
- A minimum of 6 months’ cleaning experience
- Sound command of the English language
- Basic customer service skills
- Additional area-specific language
- Willing and able to work retail hours
**Advantageous:**
- Bilingual
- Previous retail store cleaning experience
**Competencies:**
- Prior cleaning experience
- Good command of English (written and oral)
- Customer service skills
- Trustworthy and honest
- Attention to detail
- Presentable
- Ability to take instructions and follow through
- Time management skills
**Special Conditions of Employment:**
- Willing and able to work retail hours
