**Description:**
DHL Global Forwarding Freight – South Africa is seeking a General Worker to support in manufacturing Vinliners. The role involves producing articles of the right quality, material handling, ground activities including movement, storage, and packaging of materials, while adhering to corporate guidelines and policies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Comply with all safety measures.
- Ensure daily and hourly targets are met.
- Update documents as required.
- Ensure that the next processes have sufficient work.
- Report machine breakdowns to the team leader.
- Assist in other areas if required.
- Uphold housekeeping at the workstation.
- Adhere to company rules, regulations, and policies.
- Wear proper PPE.
- Ensure all firefighting equipment is in working condition.
- Attend all training related to combating fires.
- Prevent, protect, and notify authorities in case of fire.
**Qualifications:**
- Matric qualification.
- Vocational/Specialized/Technical/Certification.
**Experience:**
- 2 years or less of experience in working in a warehouse environment.
