### SHE and BCM Officer | DHL

**Description:**
DHL is seeking a SHE and BCM Officer for its fast-paced operation in Boksburg, Gauteng. This role involves ensuring compliance and governance with DHL standards and legal requirements, identifying and mitigating risks, and providing accurate reporting on all Risk and H&S related issues.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct day-to-day inspections onsite and with offsite guards.
- Report any risk issues as necessary.
- Perform monthly after-hours inspections of depot and guarding service providers.
- Initiate re-active and pro-active risk mitigation initiatives.
- Investigate risk/security/OHS incidents.
- Ensure compliance with legal prerequisites.
- Assist in completion of audits and self-assessments.
- Manage depot security and liaise with service providers and SAPS.
- Provide training on security and operations-related issues.
- Conduct loss investigations and implement prevention measures.
- Implement and maintain OHASA standards, MSS, and Business Continuity Plan.
- Ensure compliance with ISO45001/18001 and ISO14001 standards.
- Establish Safety Committees and arrange compliance meetings.
- Report incidents of Risk and OHS.
- Manage Quality management system.
- Implement the Group Business Continuity Management Strategy at site level.
- Ensure BCM compliance with DPDHL and DSC operational standards.
- Manage review procedure for the plan and prepare it for periodic audit.
- Input all BCM events into the Logics database within 48 hours.
**Qualifications:**
- Matric / Grade 12 Certificate.
- SAMTRAC/NEBOSH/NOSA (Studying Towards).
- 2-3 Years work experience in Logistics.
- Tertiary qualification (Advantageous), RPL will also be considered.
