### Inventory Analyst - Johannesburg

**Job Description:**
As an Inventory Analyst at SAB, your primary responsibility is the management of all Finished Goods (FG) within the logistics supply chain. You will ensure that inventory standards are met and comply with all inventory governance processes and controls. It’s crucial that all physical movements of inventory are accurately reflected in SAP, and any inventory differences are promptly investigated, resolved, and reported.
**Key Roles and Responsibilities:**
- **FG Quality Management:**
- Adhere to FG quality fundamental standards as per DPO & VPO requirements.
- Ensure FG Inventory is accurately blocked in SAP with a physical blocking mechanism in place as per VPO/DPO standards.
- Comply with freshness and rotation policy according to VPO & DPO standards.
- Record inventory counts accurately and display quantities, BBD x SKU, and bin cards clearly as per DPO & VPO standards.
- Apply inventory concession policy approved as per VPO product age standards.
- Re-pack salvages and decant obsolescence stock as per standard policy & procedure.
- **Inventory Management:**
- Conduct independent inventory counts on all returnable containers and reconcile to SAP inventory.
- Identify, investigate, resolve, and report inventory count differences.
- Ensure all physical movements of containers are accurately transacted in SAP.
- Review and resolve all open shipments for T1 & T2.
- Process container claims and review POC & T2 driver route settlement corrections.
- **Governance and Risk:**
- Ensure all documentation is signed-off, filed, and securely stored as per Inventory Control Policy.
- Conduct security camera verification in key points on site and random verification.
- Conduct three-point independent checks on all T1 & T2 shipments for departure & arrival.
**Profile:**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Engineering, Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Sciences.
- 2-3 years’ experience in a Stock Control environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound knowledge of the SAP R3 system.
- Good verbal ability and communication skills.
- High levels of integrity and ethics.
