**Description:**


The Solution Manager role is pivotal in facilitating DHL Supply Chain’s business operations by designing, implementing, releasing, and supporting IT solutions. This encompasses a set of IT products aimed at enhancing operational efficiency with sustainable and upgradable IT solutions. The Solution Manager is entrusted with intelligently composing these products into solutions that accentuate their uniqueness and strengths, catering to all business needs. Additionally, they ensure that implemented solutions adhere to OPS and IT standardization principles set by the company and provide support to projects aiming to achieve standardization targets.


**Key Responsibilities:**


- **Team Leadership:** Lead a team of Application Consultants.

- **Implementation & Support:** Implement and support strategic Warehouse Management solutions across Africa.

- **Documentation:** Prepare Concept of Systems documents.

- **Optimization:** Support go-live and post go-live process optimizations.

- **Change Management:** Manage change requests during implementation.

- **User Training:** Facilitate UAT and User Training.

- **Budget Management:** Accurately and timely prepare IT budgets for implementation activities.

- **Vendor Management:** Manage relevant software vendors.


**Qualifications/Skills/Competencies/Experience:**


- **Educational Background:** University Graduate (Engineering).

- **Technical Skills:** Proficient in Project Management and SQL.

- **Experience:**

  - Experience in IT Project Management and Budgeting.

  - Proficient in Strategic Applications.

  - Experience in Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Transportation.

  - FMCG environment experience advantageous.

  - Minimum 5 years of WMS experience, including implementation, master data, set-up configuration, and integration. Preferably Manhatten/WMOS experience.

- **Management Experience:** Strong technical skills and management experience.

- **Continuous Improvement:** Comprehensive understanding of continuous improvement.

- **Troubleshooting:** Experience in troubleshooting.
