**Job Type:** Full-time  

**Location:** Kempton Park, Gauteng


**Job Purpose:**

To proactively provide a central point of communication for clients, customers, and internal departments, achieving and sustaining service excellence by assisting the Customer Service Manager (CSM) with all related areas.


**Key Accountabilities:**


- **Daily Re-Delivery Report:** Compile and distribute.

- **Delivery Communication:** Communicate and change expected delivery dates.

- **Delivery Delays:** Log and communicate all delivery delays to customers and principals.

- **Returns Management:** Log and communicate all returns to principals and log authorization numbers.

- **Incident Reporting:** Communicate all related incidents (including hijacks or accidents) to all parties, log details, request orders to be reinstated, and arrange alternative delivery days with customers.

- **Special Requests:** Log and communicate special, add-on, and collection requests with operations, providing feedback to principals.

- **Reporting:** Compile weekly reports for management.

- **Problem Identification:** Identify problem areas and liaise with management.

- **Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments to ensure client and customer needs are met and customer service levels are maintained within agreed SLA’s.

- **Task Completion:** Work is task-driven; complete tasks before taking any breaks (lunch, tea).


**Qualifications, Experience & Attributes:**


- **Education:** Matric.

- **Experience:** 2-3 years of warehousing/logistics experience.

- **Skills:** 

  - Excellent interpersonal skills.

  - Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.

  - Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions.

  - Effective communication with team members.

  - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  - Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure.

  - Excellent typing skills.

  - Good problem-solving and follow-through abilities.
