**Job Description:**
Transnet is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner for their East London location. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in developing effective working relationships, influencing, and contributing to the development and delivery of people plans in support of business area and HR strategies.
**Position Outputs:**
- Act as a Business Partner integral to client management teams, contributing to the development and delivery of people plans aligned with business and HR strategies.
- Provide support and input on HR initiatives, attend relevant forums and external symposiums, and assist with implementation and communication plans.
- Partner with line managers to enact operational HR functions and address short-, medium-, and long-term resourcing issues.
- Implement talent management strategies, including strategic people planning, capacity building, performance management, and talent retention.
- Coordinate performance management processes, ensuring clear objectives and feedback aligned with organizational values.
- Provide effective recruitment and selection services in line with Employment Equity and Strategic Workforce Plans.
- Compile and submit required reports, make recommendations, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements and HR policies.
- Coordinate Organization Management processes and monitor Employment Equity plans.
- Manage remuneration administration processes, employee benefits, and employee wellness programs.
- Provide mentorship and supervision to HR Administrators and support HR enablement initiatives.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Relevant Human Resources Qualification or Equivalent NQF6.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in an HR generalist environment.
- Driver’s license (08/B) OR/ROC.
- If no formal qualification, at least 7 years relevant experience in an HR generalist environment, with supervisory or managerial experience.
