#### Key Purpose of the Role

To manage all Raw Material (RM) inventory within the logistics supply chain, ensuring product quality standards are met and compliance with all inventory governance processes and controls. Ensure that all physical movements of inventory are correctly reflected in SAP, with inventory differences investigated, resolved, and reported.


#### Key Roles and Responsibilities


- Adhere to RM Inventory quality fundamentals standards as per VPO requirements

- Ensure RM Inventory is accurately blocked in SAP with physical blocking mechanisms for quality-related & obsolescence stock

- Comply with freshness & rotation policy as per VPO standards

- Accurately record inventory counts with quantities per storage location & Best Before Dates (BBD) displayed as per VPO standards

- Apply and approve inventory concession policy as per VPO product age standards

- Re-pack all RM salvages as per VPO standards

- Decant all obsolescence stock as per standard policy & procedure

- GRN all received stock as per standard policy & procedure

- Conduct independent inventory counts, reconcile to SAP inventory, investigate, resolve & report differences

- Transact all physical movements of RM Inventory in SAP accurately

- Validate packaging receipts, verify write-offs against signed-off documentation & gate sheets

- Process breakages, obsolescence & salvages stock in SAP accurately

- Review and resolve daily controls and open shipments

- Process all claims timeously with signed-off backup documentation & ensure SAB reimbursement

- Monitor Supply Chain Overheads Budget vs. Actual costs, report gaps & action plans

- Manage and plan daily workload for the team

- Maintain daily documentation control

- Ensure good governance

- Comply with weekly and monthly stock count

- Monitor and control raw materials and stocks – handling and storage

- Apply good waste management practices

- Apply Good Housekeeping and 5S principles

- Conduct risk assessments and issue PTWs

- Perform HR & administrative duties

- Liaise with internal and external customers

- Support team goals and VPO principles

- Conduct daily stock reconciliation

- Ensure weekly PRP compliance

- Ensure all documentation is signed-off, filed & securely stored as per Inventory Control Policy

- Conduct random verification with security cameras on-site

- Perform 3-point independent checks on all shipments for departure & arrival


#### Profile


- **Education:** National Diploma in Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics, or relevant studies

- **Experience:** 2-3 years in a Stock Control environment

- **Skills:**

  - Knowledge of Stock Control Processes

  - Proficiency in MS Office & SAP

  - Licensed FLT driver

  - Attention to details

  - Problem-solving ability

  - Good verbal communication skills

  - Team player with well-developed organizational and planning skills

  - Capable of operating in a pressurized cross-functional environment

  - Good customer ethics and interpersonal skills

  - Ability to self-manage
