**Employer:** Anova Health Institute NPC
Anova Health Institute, an NGO dedicated to improving health and quality of life, seeks a Tracing Officer to enhance TB/HIV patient care by tracking missed appointments and improving adherence through telephonic and physical tracing.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities:**
- **Tracing Processes:**
- Facilitate telephonic and physical tracing of missed appointments for priority facilities.
- Liaise with facility staff and WBPHCOT team leaders to update Tier.Net and patient files.
- **Adherence Support:**
- Assist PHC facilities with telephonic tracing and adherence counseling.
- Support WBPHCOT teams in tracing defaulters within the community.
- **Reporting and Coordination:**
- Compile and submit reports on clients not reached telephonically to the WBPHCOT register for physical tracing.
- Complete the WBPHCOT register at facilities and provide feedback on outcomes to facility staff.
**Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Required:**
- **Education:**
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- **Experience:**
- Minimum of 3 years working with People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHA), particularly within the community.
- **Training:**
- Basic HIV counseling and testing.
- Adherence counseling.
- **Skills:**
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to speak Northern Sotho (Sepedi).
- **Additional Attributes:**
- Passion for community-based activities.
- Preference for candidates with disabilities and those from designated groups as per the Employment Equity Act.
