**Description:**
As the Group Product Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the product strategy and supporting Vodacom Group EBU and its 8 African operating companies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**1. Define Product Strategy:**
- Define product strategy to support the uplift of ‘Cloud’ (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) and ‘Cyber Security’ services, including capabilities, technology, customer journeys, and operational models.
**2. Drive Standardization:**
- Drive standardization across markets to foster reusability and speed of deployment, ensuring cost optimization across the group.
**3. Relationship Management:**
- Lead and develop relationships with Vodacom OpCo’s, steering and managing product teams to support group strategy and navigate new global ICT trends.
- Own and manage relationships between Vodacom Group, Vodafone, Delivery Vendors, OpCo’s, Technology Partners, and more.
**4. Collaboration and Strategy Development:**
- Collaborate with OpCo Exco’s to develop and agree on overall enterprise product strategy.
- Serve as the Group Product Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Cloud, Hosting, and Cyber Security, interfacing between OpCo’s, Group, and vendors.
**5. Improvement Initiatives:**
- Improve experience and reduce costs through the deployment and enhancement of group platforms and Supply Chain Management (SCM) initiatives.
**6. Market Insights:**
- Gather market insights and collaborate with marketing and research teams to refine product strategy.
**Ideal Candidate Profile:**
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in IT/IS or Commercial.
- Preferential qualification/skill in Project Management or Marketing Management.
**Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience:**
- Extensive Product Management experience in ICT/Telco/ISP (5-8 years).
- Experience across various ICT services including cloud, hosting, productivity software, collaboration, cyber security, and digital platforms.
- Experience working with multiple vendors.
- Commercial aptitude to drive ROI.
