**Description:**


The Solution Manager at DHL is responsible for composing IT products into solutions that emphasize their uniqueness and strengths, meeting all business needs. They ensure implemented solutions align with OPS and IT standardization principles and support projects to achieve standardization targets. The role is crucial for designing, implementing, releasing, and supporting IT solutions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency with sustainable and upgradable IT products.


**Key Responsibilities:**


- Lead a team of Application Consultants.

- Implement and support strategic Warehouse Management solutions across Africa.

- Prepare Concept of Systems documents.

- Support go-live and post go-live process optimizations.

- Manage change requests during implementation.

- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and User Training.

- Accurately prepare IT budgets for implementation activities.

- Manage relevant software vendors.


**Qualifications/ Skills/Competencies/Experience:**


- University Graduate in Engineering.

- Proficient in Project Management and SQL.

- Experience in IT Project Management and Budgeting.

- Proficient in Strategic Applications.

- Matric – Essential.

- Experience in Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Transportation.

- FMCG environment experience advantageous.

- Minimum 5 years of Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience, including implementation, master data, set-up configuration, and integration.

- Preferably experience with Manhatten/WMOS.

- Strong technical skills.

- Management experience.

- Comprehensive understanding of continuous improvement.

- Troubleshooting experience.
