**Key Responsibilities:**
**Solution Design and Architecture:**
- Collaborate with stakeholders to grasp business objectives, functional requirements, and technical constraints, translating them into comprehensive solution designs.
- Develop end-to-end architectural designs covering systems, applications, data, and integration points, prioritizing scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
**Technical Leadership:**
- Guide stakeholders in aligning business objectives, functional requirements, and technical constraints to develop comprehensive solution designs.
- Foster technical leadership by creating holistic architectural designs that encompass systems, applications, data, and integration points, emphasizing scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration:**
- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure synergy between solution architecture and project objectives.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to foster shared understanding of architectural decisions.
**Risk Management and Problem-Solving:**
- Identify potential technical risks and devise strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Tackle complex technical issues through troubleshooting and provide robust solutions to ensure project success.
**Technology Evaluation:**
- Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions enhancing business processes and outcomes.
**Documentation and Standards:**
- Document architectural designs, decisions, and patterns, ensuring documentation remains up-to-date and accessible.
- Establish and advocate architectural best practices and coding standards to ensure consistency across projects.
**Ideal Candidate Profile:**
**Technical/Professional Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s, Honours, or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, solution architecture, or related roles.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications) are advantageous.
**Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience:**
- Expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions, with hands-on experience in architecture patterns, integration strategies, and scalability considerations.
- Proficiency in a variety of technologies, including databases, networking, security, and integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends, with the ability to leverage them in application development and support initiatives.
- Ability to articulate the business value of IT investments/projects and collaborate with partners and cross-functional groups during implementation.
